@mru: I think you have missed step 3 in my instructions. This sets the paragraph
back to the Default style. After this step the style Heading 1 *IS* unused (at
least from the user's perspective). But apparently OOo still treats the style as
used, despite the fact that there's no longer a paragraph formatted by it. This
is unexpected by the user and AFAICS there is no way for the user to completely
get rid of the Heading 1 style anymore. IOW, if you have assigned a style to a
paragraph by accident just a single time, even if you change this again, you
have no way to get the document into a condition, that will allow you to insert
the file without loss.
