------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 15 13:21:31 +0000 2007 ------- In OpenOffice, just as in MS Word, I get annoyed by the fact that pictures in Writer always get inserted in some kind of floating form, whereas I *always* want them inserted 'as character'. I find this much easier to deal with wrt formatting and generally keeping my large documents well behaved. It would really be wonderful if it were possible to set a customised setting somewhere so that new pictures were by default inserted in the 'as character' mode. I know that a large number of academic and engineering users of MSWord and Writer choose to use pictures in this 'as character' mode, for ease of use, so I'm not alone on this one. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
