FL: I have just tried it an the result is even worse because Writer/Web crashed
when I tried to edit the read only html document. Since this error was not
reported I guess no one tried this before ;-).

If Writer could detect that the html document is locked, we should disable the
menu entry to create a new view. If this is not possible we should disable it
for Writer/Web by default. Once Writer will be capable to handle different
layouts, we can remove this code again. I don't think a popup could explain this
behavior and furthermore having different views without synchronized content
sounds like a bad experience after changing the “wrong” document.
