Hi,
yes, go ahead. Make sure to execute the testscript in
connectivity/workben/postgresql as described in
http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql/index.html#source to ensure, that
the libpq5 change does not bring in any problems.
I am currently working on the integration of the driver in OOo itself, but as I
can't give you date, please add it yourself.
I'll add your patch soon.
