Finally I got it working . Here is what I did:
1) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/share> ssh -i /home/laonux/.ssh/id_dsa -2 -x -L
2401:localhost:2401 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Enter passphrase for key '/home/laonux/.ssh/id_dsa':
Tunnel established. Type ctrl-c to exit.
2) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.ssh> cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs login
3) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.ssh> cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs checkout lo
got it!!
