MAV->AS: This sourcecode seems to be introduced in 1.6 version of the
objcont.cxx. I assume that it is a typo and in one of the cases "max" string
should be used. I took a look to the 1.5, and there the first "if" statement is
related to "max" although the whole part of the code still looks like a magic.
Could you please take a look.
