Ah. Didn't understand what you meant in the first round. Sorry.
So the situation is:
1) user has never installed X11 on Mac OS X
2) => no expat in the system
3) system-expat would fail.
Thus this bug is invalid (because system expat builds would not be able to be
used on all Mac OS X systems).
