------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat May 26 15:06:57 +0000 2007 ------- When I right click on a document OO Writer stalls and requires 99% CPU usage for about 3-5min before returning to normal, however the right click menu doesn't always appear. This problem has been present since OO 2.1 and I figure this might have been a configuration issue on my Windows machine as this DOES NOT occur with my linux OS. I presume that this is due to Java appearing slow on my windows system, however uninstalling Java still results on this behavior happening. This doesn't happen when I right click on an underlined spelling mistake, and the menu is displayed with spelling corrections. Neither does it happen when i right click on images I simply get the formatting options. And doesn't seem to occur at all in any other part of the OpenOffice suite. I hate to file an issue here but I can't seem to be able to reproduce this on any other machine, (especially not on a linux distro). To combat this I have tried uninstalling an reinstalling Java, OpenOffice and removing their registry settings and configuration files a few times with no success. I think I could single out this problem if I have missed any configuration settings (if they are to blame) which may have become corrupt. I have removed all files associated with Java/OpenOffice from my "Application Data" folder and the "Program Files" folder in windows. Think I have mentioned everything that may be needed. Sorry to say guys but it gets to be an irritating problem whenever I right-click on a document and have to wait 5min or so to get my laptop to respond. I can provide any files/settings that would help in diagnosing this problem. PS don't know what to do about the priority field so I left it alone. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
