------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 30 20:00:24 +0000 2007 ------- I developed two different and functioning Base-HSQLDBs (OOo 2.2). One beneath WinXp Professional on a notebook and one beneath WinXp Home Edition using Boot Camp on my Intel Core 2 Duo-iMac. I copied both .odb-files via USB-stick to OOo 2.2 beneath Mac OS X and I am locked in as USER with the right to administer my Mac. When opening these files, ALL field types are changed to VARCHAR irrespective of the original field type. When I am locked in as ROOT (SysAdmin) both databases work properly, means all field types are correct. I have already "repaired" the access rights using the HD-Service-Application (Festplatten-Dienstprogramm), without effect. Even threads in OOo- and MacUser-panels are without useful hints. I talked to some guys from OOo on todays "it-profits"-fair in Berlin. There I got the hint to enter an issue and here it is. So it might be a defect.
