I would only add the following statement to the end of the polynomial regression section. "The first element of the third row of the LINEST-output is the value of r^2. See the help for the LINEST function for details on proper use and an explanation of the other output parameters." Including a link to the LINEST function help would be good as well. Also, please don't forget that both the "regression curves in charts" and the "trend lines in charts" help topics should direct the user to this new help information. Thanks for the fast attention to this issue. I am a new OOo user and look forward to this type of experience in the future.
