Verify that the two graphics (the gear and the footer) don't overlap. 2) Export the file to PDF. Observe that the footer is obstructing the gear. 3) To workaround the issue, in f1.sxd, right click the footer and choose Arrange | send to Back. 4) Export to PDF again.
