------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jun 11 05:00:31 +0000 2007 ------- I run SuSE Linux 10.0 on two machines. I keep both fully patched and updated. Recently, I lost the ability to save work in Writer. Ctrl-S causes the window to freeze. Alt-F followed by any selection except Exit causes the window to freeze. Running ps aux reports [soffice] as defunct. I was not able to find anything similar in the database, but I may not have formed a well-formed query. Linux 2.6.13-15.15-default #1 Mon Feb 26 14:11:33 UTC 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/ Linux. I have the same problem on my second machine, which is an AMD64 machine running 64-bit linux. I have tried uninstalling OpenOffice and reinstalling, both from the CD and from the downloaded RPM (OpenOffice_org-2.2-9.1.i586.rpm.) When connection congestion clears, I will download the gz file and try an install from there. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
