First, I am not a technical person, so I don't know if this is all from the
same problem or multiple causes. I will do my best to explain the problem fully.

I just installed/upgraded from OO 2.1 to OO 2.2. I have had the same problem in
both versions.

When I write a document in OO Writer and save it as a .doc file (MS 97/2000/XP)
and then attach that file to an e-mail and send it to someone, they are not
able to open it in MS Word. It will open on my machine with MS Word but often
with formatting problems (tabs & bullets misaligned, etc.) My copy of Word is
not registered/activated so I cannot use it for writing and editing.

I am currently unemployed and use OO to write my resume and send it to
prospective employers. Of course, it does not reflect well on me that the file
I attached won't open.

Please help! I cannot afford the full version of Word right now and I need to
be able to send out my resume.
