Using a (very) modest dual-processor Pentium Pro running NT (but also a 1Gig
Pentium III running Win98), the beta is, I'm afraid just unusably slow.

Some timings on the NT box (all in seconds; all with the "load quicklauncher
during startup" option turned off):

Operation 1.1.0 1.9.79
--------- ----- ------
Open 13 Kb .sxc from scratch 60 200
open same .sxc when OOO running 14 90
Launch calc from scratch 20 107

Open Tools|Options dialog from calc 1 50

In all cases, when using 1.9.79 both CPU's are virtually 100% busy when OOO is
doing almost anything.
Is there must be some heavy duty debugging code left enabled?
