AFAIK tab-stops are not part of docbook to separate format from content, see
http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg04026.html
Nevertheless I transformed the tabstops to 8 whitespaces, no way to find
scalable amount from XML side and addressed texts (Spaces) as well.
Actually I simply reused the XHTML whitespace handling.
