------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jun 23 18:51:58 +0000 2007 ------- The problem can be reproduced as follows: - open a new Openoffice Draw document - draw a single horizonal line with an arrow - Annotate this line by double clicking the line and add some text. - select the line and copy with ctr-C - Open a Openoffice Writer window and paste special with Ctrl-shift-V, and select "Draw 8" The pasted object should be visible in the Writer document, but only a horizontal line is shown; no arrow and no annotated text. If you double click the draw object in Writer, you are able to edit the object. It shows an area that is that small that only the line part of the original arrow is shown. When resizing the edit window it will become clear that the original annotated arrow object is completely present, but that it is put in a too small window that crops the essential parts of the object. This behaviour is only shown when the arrow object is pasted as a Draw 8 object, not when it is pasted as "drawing format", "GDI metafile" or "Bitmap". Also when the selected arrow object is exported as an .eps file, It is exported with a bounding box that holds all information. So it seems it is only a Draw 8 object problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
