I first noticed this in calc, but it seems to affect writer as well.

I have no problem saving in OO.org native formats, but when I try to save as any
non-open format, the app loses focus and nothing happens. Here's what happens.

1. Choose File > Save as
2. Choose a non-open format (such as .xls or .doc).
3. Click OK.
The app loses focus...nothing happens. When I do this at home, I get a
Yes/No dialog suggesting that I use an open format.
4. If I hit ESC, I'm returned to the Save As dialog.

I thought at first this was an effect of upgrading to 2.2.1 (from 2.0.4), but I
went back to 2.0.4 and still see the issue.

Please let me know if there is more information I can provide (and how to
provide it).
