The reason for this URL is because of the problems caused when CollabNet injects its own code into the web pages. I must finally admit that these Content Management Systems or whatever they are called probably won't go away regardless of how poor or monolithic. However, much blood, sweat and tears could be avoided in accomplishing the exact same result (e.g. standard menus, footers, headers) using server side includes. I'm fine with CVS or SVN, in fact that's an advantage.
