------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jul 2 12:45:35 +0000 2007 ------- Opening a new spreadsheet causes it to open at maximum size. Toggling the max button does not significantly change its size. Unfortunately Mac windows (this is running under X11 on OS X) can only be resized using the mouse by dragging the bottom right corner of the window. This is off-screen (slightly below the bottom of the screen) and it is impossible to get it onto the screen. This makes the software unusable. From memory the same thing happened with wordprocessing, but in that case it was possible to get the bottom left corner just onscreen, then shrink the window. Once you have done that future New windows are the smaller size. But I have been unable to do this for spreadsheets. There seems to be no way of changing the default behaviour - which is completely daft anyway (I have a huge screen and it is absurd to fill it with a spreadsheet).
