I've just installed English version.
As soon as I open Tools -> Options... -> Language Settings -> Writing Aids, even
if I don't change anything, AutoSpellcheck switches to "on" on the next opening
(Writer or Calc). Exactly like in French version.
So I do think there is a bug here.
