------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 9 09:21:03 -0800 2005 ------- Description of the situation and environment: Notebook Acer TravelMate 2300. Touchpad usually allows quick scrolling in windows using right and bottom side of touchpad (drag in the side zone and window scrolls, don't need to move pointer above the scrollbar - well, actually Acer pointing software does place mouse pointer to the scrollbar and then returns it to the original position). There is a four directional button, which allows similiar functionality by pressing button in the needed direction. In other applications I use this feature works (MS Notepad - yes, Wordpad - yes, Firefox - yes, but not when I have my text cursor in the multiline textbox, where I input this issue description). Issue: in the specified version of OO.org this way of scrolling doesn't work. This applies to Writer, Calc, Draw (others not tested, but I expect the same). When I try scrolling mouse pointer moves as usual moving using touchpad, but no scrolling takes place. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
