------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 12 09:00:38 +0000 2007 ------- Inserting a 3D-object into an existing 3D-scene: (1) Create the new 3D-object as usual. You get a 3D-Scene with contains only this object. (2) Set both scenes to parallel projection. That is necessary because of issue 67847. (3) Copy or cut the new 3D-scene to the clipboard. If you copy it, you should drag the original aside, because later on the pasted one will be at that place. (4) Go to the existing scene and enter it (enter group). (5) Paste the clipboard. It will not insert it as 3d-scene, but it will insert the single 3D-object. (6) Now you have two object inside one scene. (7) Leave the group. Playing around you should look at the left part of the status bar. It tells you whether you have selected a 3D-scene or a single 3D-object. Be aware that some settings like kind of projection or camera are unique for the scene and some settings like texture are special to a single 3D-object. If you want to change the settings for a single object you must first enter the scene. You find a lot about 3D in http://oooauthors.org/de/veroeffentlicht/draw/dh7_3D-objekte_erstellen_und_bearbeiten.odt Unfortunately it is in German and not yet translated to English. Please close the issue, if you now think too that it is no defect. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
