Hello i've got a modualar designed Documationproject, where i
created several Documents (1-8 pages each with a few numbered illustrations and
some headings).
When i collect the Documents in an Masterdocument (with an toc and and
illustration index) this works up to 3/4 documents, then the CPU usages reaches
100% and stays there 10 min and longer (depends on the size of the last
included document.
Before i explain the samplefiles more on the platform and Versions
I tried this on 2 different platforms /Versions
- Mac (Intel Dualcore 2,4Ghz 2 GB RAM)
-Openoffice 2.2.0
-NeoOffice 2.2.1
- Intel Win XP
-Openoffice 2.1
-Openoffice 2.2.0
-Openoffice 2.2.1
-Openoffice Daily build from 2007/07/18
-and last Portable Version
I had one setup, where this worked excellent
(i remember this was an OpenOffice 2.1 on a Pentium based XP Machine,
but this is past, so i can't tell any more about this)
So now to the sample files linked in the URL
I saved the master dokument (till everything works) as:
- "Masterdoc_DE_V1_0a.odm
If i insert a new File in the Documenttree (before the Illustration Index)
the problems happens. (I also tried to insert this doc earlier and insert
other documents, so the behaviour is the same, maybe happening later)
so i hope i provided enough information
regards from Bavaris
michi
