------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jul 20 12:19:27 +0000 2007 ------- First, It's reproducible on solaris 10 update 1,2,3 (sparc and x86), on JDS3 (gnome 2.6.0) The problem exist in older OOo2 releases, but I focus in the latest available. In JDS, Nautilus recognize the ODF openoffice files (odt,ods...) as compressed files. So it opens these files with file roller. The problem does not occur for openoffice1 files (sxw, sxc) nor Ms office files (doc, xls) Problem comes from the openofficeorg-desktop-integratn package Here under the work around I have: ln -s /usr/share/gnome/mime-info/openoffice.org-2.2.keys /usr/share/mime-info/openoffice.org-2.2.keys ln -s /usr/share/gnome/mime-info/openoffice.org-2.2.mime /usr/share/mime-info/openoffice.org-2.2.mime ln -s /usr/share/gnome/application-registry/openoffice.org-2.2.applications /usr/share/application-registry/openoffice.org-2.2.applications edit /usr/share/application-registry/openoffice.org-2.2.applications replace the first line: openoffice by openoffice.org-2.2 update-mime-database /usr/share/mime logout and log back and the file association is ok.
