------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jul 23 21:53:29 +0000 2007 ------- OOo uses the name "My Documents" to label the option item where the default document path is set. This name is confusing and inconsistent because it names an item and yet users will recognize it as the name of a specific location on the computer. One possible improved name is simply "Documents". For example, see http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=238686 Look at the table shown for Tools > Options > Paths: Type Path ------------ ----------- AutoCorrect ... AutoText Backups Gallery Graphics My Documents Templates Temporary files Each of the other labels in the "Type" column is generic. The "My Documents" label also has come into some generic usage, but it is more widely understood as a specific location in itself. In effect, there are two paths listed for that item. The user may correctly deduce from studying the rest of the entries what is intended, but it would be better to simply choose a more consistent and less confusing label, e.g. "Documents". --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
