------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jul 24 07:46:34 +0000 2007 ------- I am a faculty member at the TOBB University of Economics and Technology and I am currently working on an article comparing the accuracy of statistical functions in Excel 2007 versus various free software alternatives including ooo. Once completed, this paper will be published in a scholarly journal in Statistics and Econometrics. While testing ooo along with ELV, Excel, R, and Gnumeric, I realized that the statistical functions in ooo are generally accurate, however, I also found important errors in Calc's poisson distribution, normal distribution, inverse normal distribution, inverse chi-square distribution, inverse beta distribution, inverse F distribution and inverse student's t distribution. Because this is a study in progress, I will be happy to share my results with you if you provide me with a private contact email. I think it is best that these errors are fixed in a prompt manner.
