looking at the patch then if the linker supports --hash-style=both OOo will
automatically compile everything with it, but we e.g. fedora don't want that. we
build everything automatically by default with =gnu and without =sysv hash so
=both by default will lead to everything in the distro built with =gnu and just
OOo built with =both.
Do we actually need this particular test and hash enforcement ?
