Problem was first noticed on OOo Writer 2.0.4 for Fedora Core 6. After going to
the Options dialog -> View and changing the UI Scaling to 120%, when I type
anything new in the document the text is invisible until I scroll it off the
page and then back on. If I modify existing text, sometimes the changes are not
shown, and other times some or all of the line turns into random garbage.

Since this is an older version of OOo, I tried the same test on a Windows XP
system that has OOo 2.2.0 installed. That version wasn't quite as bad, but it
does show some inconsistencies in the glyphs, especially at certain scaling
sizes. For example, 125% looks very good, but at 120% the character baselines
are misaligned, and at 110% the line widths are inconsistent. The display
problem is more pronounced when I use a scaling factor less than 100 -- at 80%,
the lower half of the text disappears! As in the Linux version, if I scroll
past the text and then back up to it, it comes back normal.

If the UI Scaling is 100%, I see no problem while typing in OOo 2.0.4 for Linux.
In OOo 2.2.0 for Windows, on the other hand, glyphs continue to be
inconsistently displayed (meaning they vary in size or line width by a pixel)
until I exit and restart OpenOffice Writer.
