------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Aug 1 01:39:11 +0000 2007 ------- I have a fair number of tab delimited text files that are saved with a .txt extension. There is no option to force openoffice to open these files in calc (spreadsheet). Even if I choose open from the menu within calc, it still opens the file in writer. The only way to open the files in calc is to rename them to .csv. I find that fairly annoying and unnecessary. Either there should be an option in the file opening process to specify the file is a spreadsheet, or .txt files opened from within calc should be assumed to be spreadsheets. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
