You must distinguish between cut and copy. The behavior is not the same.
Cut&Paste is the same as moving a cell.
If you cut a cell, you tell the program that you will keep the relationships in
the sheet, but want a different arrangement.
Imagine you have a tax rate in cell A3 and have several formulas on that
spreadsheet that use this cell. Now you decide that it would be better to have
the tax rate in B3 for to write a label in A3. You cut A3 and paste it into B3
and all formula former referencing A3 now reference B3 and therefore still show
the correct result.
It is the right way to handle moving. Excel does it the same way.
