Thanks for trying and the information!

In my document there's nothing except text with 4 styles, and if I try to export
 more than ~200 pages it fails. As my doc is pretty big (~2000 pages) so
splitting/export/merging is too much trouble.

I've also found that there are couple of programs which do odt->xhtml exporting
like this one http://books.evc-cit.info/odf_utils/ruby_to_xhtml.html
which works for smaller texts but on my document it just swaps for days without
producing a result :(

I've found temporary solution for my case - I'll just extract content.xml from
odt and feed it to sed with 5-6 regular expressions to produce raw xhtml. It's
does not care about styles but it is very fast and easy to modify the output 
format.
