2007 -------
1. Create a new empty presentation.
2. Create a rectangle shape.
3. Select that shape, press F2 and enter some text like "abc".
4. Save the file as an .odg file and then as an .sxi file.
5. Open the .odg file and it will be fine.
6. Open the .sxi file and the text will disappear (or too small to be seen).
7. Select the shape and the handles will show that its upper left corner is
now that of the page. So, something is wrong.

I don't know if this is related to
