Hi,

this is not a bug of OOo because your date isn't formatted as text. As far as I
can tell from the attached file. You have two choices here, Format the cell
before entering the date as text or enter the date with a leading single quote.
This is for the formula in D5.

For D6, just enclose the date in double quotes.

BTW Excel gives the same errors with hte file provided.
