There's already an easy way to get what you want:
- Find&Replace
- More options > Search for styles
- Select "Text body" in the search fields
- Find all
-> all "Text body" formatted paragraphs are selected
- Tools - Word Count - Current selection
The effort is too high and the benefit of implementing such a feature to low.
