@jl: after discussing this issue with kr, the only viable solution seems to be
to deligate the execute of the license dialog to the main thread using
vcl::SolarThreadExecutor::impl_execute and
vcl::solarthread::detail::GenericSolarThreadExecutor
like it is already done for the file picker.
