It's even impossible to select this option when selecting "Bearbeiten => Inhalte Einfügen" (I use a German version, in English the menu should be something like "Edit => Insert As"). How to reproduce: 1. Open MS-Exchange and select a part of a plain text e-mail. 2. Press CTRL+C or select "Edit => Copy" from menu. 3. Switch to a OpenOffice Writer document 4. Select "Bearbeiten => Inhalte Einfügen" / "Edit => Insert As" You will notice that the popup window which usually allows you to select the format used to insert the data is empty. You can't choose the "plain text" option.
