As you can see from the appearance of the Status bar in the screenshot, in the
sample case where the font seemed bold, you have set a zoom level of 110 %. In
the case the text appears normal, you have a zoom level of 100 %.
In my eyes, character MUST look a little larger in a higher zoom.
