------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Aug 30 16:50:32 +0000 2007 ------- You really have a strange definition of 'invalid'. That being said, what prevents you from having sin^2 x + cos^2 x = 1 being detected correctly? ^2 applies to sin(), cos(), and the parser should still format the output correctly, i.e. detect x as the argument of the function. I disagree with 'invalid' being the correct resolution as you definitely ignores the real meaning of sin(x), but I don't want to fight about it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
