I am using the OpenOffice on Mac X11 port version 2.2.1 on a PowerPC processor
G4. It exists on all
documents I use. I found a sample file online here:

When I do a vertical scroll with the mouse wheel or, especially the trackpad, I
get the behavior
described.
I just submitted the issue, your system assigned it.
I mentioned NeoOffice because I have worked with them resolving issue and a
similar issue existed
there and we were able to resolve it. I am currently using OpenOffice and
submitted the bug to your
system because of this.
Opening a document is fine. It is the scrolling.
