------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 7 21:29:55 +0000 2007 ------- Saving a normal document is refused if the file name contains an asterisk or other illegal character. This check is bypassed when saving a template, and the resulting file cannot be opened by File > Template > Edit. Steps to reproduce: 1) File > New > Text Document 2) File > Templates > Save 3) Enter a template name containing an asterisk: A New Template *Updated* OK 4) Save and Close the document 5) File > Template > Edit Select the template just saved; the Open dialog will show "A New Template *Updated*.ott" as the file name. 6) Click the "Open" button; the file name changes to "A%20New%20Template%20*Updated*.ott" and the file is not opened The operation is prevented from being completed by this pathway. The template can be edited using File > Templates > Organize ...
