Problems with punctuation and parentheses in bidirectional context
If I write a latin and a hebrew sentence in one pragraph, the punctuation
doesn't fit. The full stop in hebrew context is ok and also in latin, but when I
change from one to the other the point follows the main direction.
Testtext auf Latein. ועכשיו נסיון בעברית. ועוד משפט שני. Und wieder
Latein.
The dot after the hebrew letter tav is correct, but the one after the hebrew
letter yod is wrong. I found out that there is the Unicode character „0x200F“
(RLM - „right to left mark“). Whitch changes the direction for so called shared
characters. The same example as before with RL-Mark.
Testtext auf Latein. ועכשיו נסיון בעברית. ועוד משפט שני. Und wieder
Latein.
But it is very unconfortable to insert this character with the mouse („Insert ->
Formatting-Mark -> Right-to-left mark“), for there is no shortcut. But I would
prefere, if Neo/J/OpenOffice.org would insert the RLM automaticly according to
the keymap or the last character.
