------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Sep 17 17:12:44 +0000 2007 ------- The "BalancedChargePumps.odg" is not my document; I have permission from the author to share it. To observe the problem: 1) File > Open > "BalancedChargePumps.odg" (attached to this issue) 2) Locate the "Ro" label [position (115.87,94.52mm), just below Q3 / Q4] 3) Activate the formula editor for this object 4) Change the formula to have the correct label: "Current Switch" (This is a formula that is simply the text, no math markup) 5) Exit the formula editor by clicking in the document Note that the text of the label just edited is now correct, but it's size is completely wrong (much too wide), and the text entered is duplicated in place of the (previously correct) "Ro" label at position (120.75,26.66mm). There is a similar problem with the label "n*Ib" at (79.15,70.49mm). If you try to edit it (as above), you will see that the formula is actually "V sub Down". If you change the formula, e.g. to "Q sub 5", then again, it's size is wrong (slightly too narrow) and the resulting formula is duplicated at the upper right in place of the "n*Ib" label at (146.66,27.70mm). This behavior is consistent for me using 2.3rc3 on Fedora Linux. If it is not reproducible elsewhere, I can provide screenshots if that will help. Note that the person who originally encountered the problem also had trouble with pasting the circuit diagram into Writer as a GDI metafile. I do not see that now using 2.3rc3, so that problem may be fixed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
