Hi,
I'm sorry but I've to close this Issue as invalid.
The Excel file exported by your QPro is broken. It contains no information about
the japanese codepage and therefore Excel (non Japanese version) and OOo try to
open it with a western codepage. If you have an Japanese Excel version which can
save into the Excel 97/2000/2003 format, use it and it should convert correctly.
You may also try to use the filters for Quattro Pro from the File Open Dialog to
open your files directly.
