------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 19 13:41:32 +0000 2007 ------- A couple minutes after opening the document (or scrolling down, or trying to save as .doc), swriter goes 100% CPU and hangs. This is a complex 500+ pages .odt converted from .doc (with OOo 2.2.1). It worked, but recently with new updates I installed OOo 2.3.0 RCsomething on my Ubuntu Gutsy, and from that point it started to hang. I tried installing Win32 2.3.0 via wine, it behaves the same as the Linux version. I installed Win32 OOo 2.2.1 using Wine and continued to work on the document. However, there is another problem with that: when exporting back to .doc it exports a broken (and I suspect truncated, since the fresh converted .doc weights around 17 Mb and the broken one just around 11 Mb) .doc, which crashes MS Word and is unopenable. So, I suspect there have to be some regression made in 2.3.0. Attachement will follow. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
