I would prefer to delete the download NSIS file after extracting. What more power does the user have? I can't see the benefit. The installed Office is looking for the msi file for repair or modify. An installed Office doesn't know about the download file. If you distribute OOo on a CD you don't have this NSIS file but the extracted files.
