The reason for your problem is that the default security level now is "High".
Please check in the Release Notes.
There should be a warning dialog when you load the document. It should tell you
that the macros are not executed because of security settings.
It was specified that this is enough and that we don't want to reiterate this
warning message again and again. So perhaps this is more an RFE? And IMHO it is
not a good one. Seeing the warning once (on load time) should be enough.
