SBA: Please be a bit more precise with what the problem is or what change should
be implemented. A list-like (step-by-step) description is always best. A bugdoc
(something like "Red text is selected, green and blue word shall be added like
this and not like this") could be helpful, too. Thank you.
As you write yourself, the selection behavior takes some time to "toy" with in
order to use it efficiently. This is a matter of personal expererience and
habits about the use of mouse and the keyboard, of course influenced by the
"personal choice" of other software people are using.
In my very personal opinion, avoiding the mouse as often as possible when
dealing with text brings up "speed" in general, but this is a personal view
because I can type fastly, thus grabbing the mouse costs too much time itself.
Therefore I am more experienced with keyboard use, thus I know better without
thinking, thus I prefer and advocate it. No big wonder: Most people like what
they know, too few people know what they would like better without havinge done
so... :-)
