------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 21 15:03:11 +0000 2007 ------- Description of Problem: When printing address labels with conditional hidden sections, Writer seems to hiccup and starts producing labels which are a combination of the current record and the one following. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a new labels document (File/New/Labels). Choose Bibliography database, biblio table, Avery A4 labels, L1760 Address labels. 2. Create a label using Insert/Fields/Other... On Database tab choose Mail Merge Fields and from the Bibliography.biblio table insert fields Identifier, Author, Publisher, Title, Year. Finally insert Next record. 3. The fields are all in one paragraph so insert paragraph marks between the fields. 4. Synchronise the labels and print - reply Yes to "Print a form letter?" These labels should print correctly. To avoid printing blank lines in labels we introduce conditional hidden sections. 5. Highlight each field in turn and apply Insert/Section... Set Hide and specify With Condition of <fieldname> EQ "" i.e. Identifier EQ "" etc. For the last field (Year) set With Condition to Year EQ "2003". It is important to ensure that the Next record field which follows the Year field is included in the hidden section - to confirm select View/Field Names while Year is selected. 6. Synchronise the labels and print - reply Yes to "Print a form letter?" These labels will display the mixed data fields problem. Actual Results: Using the bibliography database the problem first exhibits on the second page of labels with identifier GRU00 which shows an Author of 'Brunsteiner, Horst' who is the author of the next identifier BRU00. Likewise the Publisher and Title shown for GRU00 are those of BRU00. Note that the Year field is correct! Expected Results: All of the fields referenced must be from the same record. How often does this happen? The problem will appear at the same point each time the Writer document is printed. Note that if the Next record field falls outside the hidden section the labels print correctly. Additional Information (OS patch level, drivers, library version, etc.) Problem reproduced on OO 2.2.0 (Ubuntu Fiesty), OO 2.2.0 WinXP and OO 2.3.0 WinXP --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
