May be I've missed something...

But, rpm installation of 2.3 seems to have trashed my OOo (previously 2.2.1)
installation - bit of a show stopper!
(Installed from here:
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=linuxintelwjre&lang=en-US&version=2.3.0)

iirc, previously I've followed the instructions here:
http://download.openoffice.org/common/instructions.html#linux
Which have installed OOo into /opt/

Also, previously I've had no trouble installing (iirc)
/RPMS/desktop-integration/openoffice.org-redhat-menus-2.3-9215.noarch.rpm to
provide me my desktop and menu icons in fc5.

However:
- going through this procedure with 2.3 has caused all my previous (default
2.2.1) desktop/menu icons to be removed, and;
- OOo no longer seems to be entirely installed into /opt/ but has also installed
somethings into /usr/bin/ (openoffice.org2.3; openoffice.org2.3-printeradmin)
and when I attempt to run something meaningful derived from the 2.2.1 command
line this is what I get:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ openoffice.org2.3 -writer %U
/usr/bin/openoffice.org2.3: line 2: /etc/openoffice.org2.3/program/soffice: No
such file or directory
/usr/bin/openoffice.org2.3: line 2: exec:
/etc/openoffice.org2.3/program/soffice: cannot execute: No such file or
directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$

Is there some confusion in the packaging between /opt/ and /etc/?

This command seems to be working fine:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ /opt/openoffice.org2.3/program/soffice -writer
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$

Any ideas?

Thanks all, the new OOo otherwise looks awesome
