Sorry if this is a duplicate. I searched via Text relocation and SELinux which
did not yield immediate results. SELinux is running in permissive mode; however,
the warning still appears from settroubleshoot so I am reporting the warning for
the sake of being thorough.

My install of OpenOffice comes directly from openoffice.org via the RPMS without
the jre component. I have my own jre installed. The problem is unrelated.

SELinux is preventing /opt/openoffice.org2.3/program/soffice.bin from loading
/opt/openoffice.org2.3/program/libvclplug_gen680li.so.1.1 which requires text
relocation.

Detailed description is as follows from settroubleshoot browser:

The /opt/openoffice.org2.3/program/soffice.bin application attempted to load
/opt/openoffice.org2.3/program/libvclplug_gen680li.so.1.1 which requires text
relocation. This is a potential security problem. Most libraries do not need
this permission. Libraries are sometimes coded incorrectly and request this
permission. The SELinux Memory Protection Tests web page explains how to remove
this requirement. You can configure SELinux temporarily to allow
/opt/openoffice.org2.3/program/libvclplug_gen680li.so.1.1 to use relocation as a
workaround, until the library is fixed. Please file a bug report against this
package.

This occurs each time I open writer, but since I am runnign SELinux in
permissive mode I am able to continue running the application. I do not know if
I turned SELinux all the way on if OpenOffice would run.
